22nd January 2018: Terra Nova Big Schools Birdwatch

Volunteer Leaders visited the Nursery and Reception classes at Terra Nova School. After a quick introduction to some common garden birds in the classroom (with some great correct identifications – blue tit, blackbird and great tit!) Terra Nova students learned how to use binoculars safely. After also getting to grips with a bit of counting children headed outside to complete their bird surveys.
