Brilliant Birdwatchers from Bosley Bobkins wrapped up warm to look for birds in their school grounds.
The children listened to House sparrows chirping in the hedges and even spotted them sitting high up on the edge of the gutters. A large rook landed on top of the school building – a great spot for the young birdwatchers.
A huge group of Canada geese were still grazing on the field at the back of the school. Luckily the children from the Infants and Juniors had already counted them!
Macclesfield RSPB Wildlife Explorers would like to thank the pupils and staff for hosting a 2016 Big Schools’ Birdwatch.
