Wildlife Explorers prepared for The RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch at their January Indoor Meeting, Feathered Friends. Children gathered at The Salvation Army Hall on Roe Street to learn some basic garden bird identification skills and the way the valuable data collected in the survey is used to help conservation. Children had chance to try out using binoculars for an indoor birdwatching session using a collage with lots of hidden wildlife species to identify. Wildlife Explorers got creative making Bird of Prey Window decorations in a variety of realistic and abstract styles.
