The work of Macclesfield RSPB Wildlife Explorers and The Macclesfield RSPB Local Group collecting stamps to help vital international conservation work protecting Albatrosses has been given a boost by a local school. Pupils at Bosley St.Marys Primary School have been collecting used stamps thanks to the hard work of Recycling Officers Oliver Carter and Sam Brunt. The RSPB hopes to stamp out albatross deaths by converting used postage stamps into cash. Each loose stamp has a small value, but in large quantities they’re still valuable.
