Wildlife Explorer Leaders helped to organise and run a Pupil Conference for Primary school pupils attending several different feeder schools for The Fallibroome Academy.
The session covered the work of The RSPB, how different animals prepare for winter and how we can all help wildlife by making sure we give nature a home in our own gardens.
All the children made bug bungalows to take home and Mr Evans and Leader Darren Mayer helped each school make a splendid bug house to take back to their school.
Children shared their ideas on the best ways to help nature in their gardens.
Wildlife Explorer Leaders were supported by Junior Leader Kat Mayer and RSPB Phoenix member Will Mayer, both pupils of Fallibroome Academy. Other Fallibroome students were also on hand to assist and support the younger children as they took part in the afternoon’s activities.
